The Integrated Teacher
Making Yoga Make Sense Through Integrated Teaching
A six-month small-group programme for yoga teachers who want to move beyond fragmented trainings and disconnected teaching.
Designed for both newer and experienced teachers, this programme explores how anatomy, philosophy, mythology, movement, language and observation can be woven naturally through posture itself — not taught as isolated modules or added mechanically on top of practice.
Rather than focusing on fixed sequences or formulaic teaching, the emphasis is on refinement: refining language, refining observation, refining movement understanding, and refining the ability to teach real people rather than idealised postures.
Over six months we work progressively with posture, movement and meaning through a layered learning model I call Whisper to Weave — helping teachers deepen and integrate what they already know while developing a more coherent and reflective approach to teaching.
This programme is not about becoming a “perfect” teacher.
It is about learning how to teach with greater clarity, specificity, adaptability and depth.
Who This Programme Is For
This programme is designed for yoga teachers and teachers-in-training wanting a more integrated, observational and student-centred approach to teaching.
It may particularly support:
teachers feeling fragmented by disconnected trainings
teachers wanting to integrate anatomy, philosophy and mythology more naturally
newly qualified teachers wanting more support and practical application
experienced teachers wanting to refine habitual teaching patterns
teachers returning to teaching after time away
teachers wanting to build more coherent workshops, retreats and long-term class planning
While many aspects of the programme are designed to be explored gradually through real teaching experience and observation over time, teachers who are not currently teaching are also very welcome.
Where needed I’ll help support less experienced teachers in finding practical ways to begin applying and exploring the work gently and progressively - whether through self practice, peer teaching, observation, teaching friends, or smaller supported teaching environments.
This programme may also support teachers who feel overwhelmed or fragmented by trying to piece together information from multiple trainings, teaching styles, and teaching voices.
Many yoga teachers spend years moving between different trainings, workshops, online courses and teaching styles, often leaving them with valuable information but no clear sense of how everything fits together in real teaching.
Part of the intention behind this programme is to offer continuity, reflection and ongoing support within a smaller learning environment — including direct access to an experienced teacher, a private teacher community, and space to ask questions openly over time.
Rather than searching for answers from a hundred different voices, teachers are encouraged to gradually deepen their own understanding, teaching language and observational skills through discussion, practice, reflection and real teaching experience.
How The Programme Works
The Integrated Teacher Development Programme runs over six months in a small-group format designed to support progressive, layered learning rather than information overwhelm.
Each month we’ll work with posture, movement, language, observation, philosophy and mythology through a structured teaching framework that allows ideas to build gradually over time.
Rather than collecting disconnected information, the aim is to help teachers integrate what they already know into more coherent, observant and student-centred teaching.
What’s Included
Monthly Live Workshops
Each month we’ll meet live online for a 2–3 hour workshop exploring integrated teaching through posture, observation, anatomy, philosophy, mythology, language and real teaching application.
These workshops are live, practical and discussion-based rather than passive lectures.
All sessions will be recorded if you cannot attend live.
Monthly Workbooks & Reflective Teaching Tasks
Each month you’ll receive a guided workbook designed to help you:
reflect on your teaching
observe your students more clearly
question habitual teaching patterns
integrate anatomy, movement and philosophy more naturally
and apply ideas directly within your own classes
This is not passive learning.
The programme is designed around observation, reflection and gradual integration through lived teaching experience.
Integrated Teaching Approach
Throughout the programme we’ll explore:
anatomy through movement and observation
philosophy through posture and lived experience
mythology as a teaching tool rather than performance
language and cueing
student-centred teaching
repetition and progressive layering
adapting teaching to real people rather than idealised postures
The emphasis is always on teaching through asana — not simply adding information on top of practice.

You’ll have direct access to me throughout the programme for questions, guidance and support.
You’ll also have access to:
a private WhatsApp group
a private Facebook group
